Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey was a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May 1998 in Minsk Belarus. Her twelve WTA singles wins comprise the Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. She is also an excellent doubles player. She's won two more Majors to this specialty including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both with Elise Mertens. The year she was born, she was the winner of two majors, her first WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partner, completing the Sunshine Double. The feat was achieved by four couples competing in female doubles. On the 23rd August of 2021, she was ranked second in the singles world ranking her highest ranking was again reached in the month of January in 2023. In doubles however she pushed herself to the top of the list during February of that same year after the victory in Melbourne becoming thus the second tennis player from Belarus to be a part of the sport of doubles. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) coached her for part of 2019 and from 2018 to the closing. There was a brief collaboration with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she has been coached by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams & Maria Sharapova are her main inspirations.
